Bath Remodel in Fort Walton Beach, FL

This project was located on the bayou in Fort Walton Beach.
The house, built in 1962, had a sunken, soaking tub. The washer/dryer were visible in the corner of the bathroom. An aging couple who have owned the house for over 30 years, wanted to make their guest bath more accessible with a bathroom remodel. Here is what we did:
What We Did:
- Converted the tub to a zero threshold shower
- Added grab bars
- Bench seat
- Tile niche
- Adjustable shower head
- Extended the left shower wall to add a laundry closet
- Installed doors to hide the washer/dryer
- Moved the toilet to accommodate the laundry closet doors
- New flooring
- New vanity w/linen closet
- New bathroom window
